This is a perfect way to start your morning. The pineapple and ginger tonify the stomach which the lemon, celery and spinach dredge the liver and gallbladder. Parsley acts as a natural diuretic. Best consumed on an empty stomach. If you have a propensity to being cold, gently warm the mixture on the stove before consuming.
- ⅓ pineapple
- 2 stalks celery
- 1in piece of ginger
- 1 lemon
- 2 cups spinach
- ¼ cup parsley
- Juice the first 4 ingredients.
- Add in the spinach and parsley and blend.
- You may need to add in a bit of water if the mixture is too thick.
If you do not have a juicer, you can blend all the ingredients. Straining out the fiber is optional.
