Fertility can be a delicate issue for many. There are many internal and external factors that can affect the fertility of a couple. This week we will be focusing on the trajectory of the Chong Mai and its relationship to female fertility stages.

The Chong Mai is also known as the Sea of Blood and it the traditionally thought of as the ‘blueprint’ of an organism. It is one of the first meridians to develop after a child is born. It directs the evolution of the person from birth to death along specific life cycles.  For women, these cycles occur in 7 year increments.

Acupuncture, diet and lifestyle can support couples who are eager to have children as well as a healthy sexual life through these cycles of change. It can be used alone or in conjunction with conventional fertility procedures.

For support outside of fertility, the treatment of the Chong Mai, can also be supportive for conditions such as menopausal symptoms, premenstrual tension syndrome, polycystic ovarian syndrome, menorrhagia, amenorrhea or endometriosis.
